A Good Fit for Daily Assistance

• Seniors who remain at home but need hands-on help with parts of the day
• Clients who need support getting ready, moving safely, eating regularly, or following a routine
• Families who want dependable scheduled help and better communication
• Clients whose needs are greater than Companion Care but do not require continuous coverage

Support That Protects Dignity and Independence

Daily Assistance should never feel rushed or impersonal. Caregivers explain what they are doing, follow the client's approved preferences, respect privacy, and encourage safe participation whenever possible. The client remains at the center of every decision.

Care begins with a consultation and an approved care plan. If needs or routines change, Tru Star can review the plan with the client and authorized family members.

Dressing, Grooming, and Bathroom Routines

A caregiver can provide discreet support with bathing routines, dressing, grooming, toileting, and getting ready for the day. The amount of help is based on the client's approved care plan and may range from reminders and standby assistance to more direct help with specific steps.

Privacy, comfort, and choice come first. Caregivers use respectful communication, allow appropriate time, and encourage the client to participate safely rather than taking over the entire routine.

Daily Assistance is private-pay and non-medical. Caregivers do not provide clinical treatment, make diagnoses, or administer
medication.

Meals, Hydration, and Household Support

Eating and drinking regularly are important parts of a stable daily routine. A caregiver can help plan simple meals, prepare food, set up the table, provide mealtime assistance, offer hydration reminders, and clean the immediate meal area afterward.

Caregivers may also help with light housekeeping connected to the client's everyday comfort, including laundry, folding, linen changes, basic tidying, and keeping frequently used areas organized. Heavy or deep cleaning is not included.

Whenever it is safe and appropriate, the client is encouraged to remain involved - choosing meals, arranging a place setting, folding clothing, or participating in other familiar household activities.

Safety, Consistency, and Family Reassurance

Walking and Mobility Support

A caregiver can provide approved standby or steadying assistance, encourage use of the client's usual mobility aid, and help keep everyday pathways clear. Caregivers follow the care plan and report changes or concerns through Tru Star's communication process.

Tru Star Senior Care does not provide physical therapy. Caregivers do not evaluate mobility conditions, create exercise programs, or change instructions from a licensed therapist.

Medication Reminders

A caregiver may remind the client that it is time to take medication according to the established schedule. The caregiver does
not prescribe, select, change, or administer medication.

Reassurance for Families

Families cannot always be present for every morning routine, meal, appointment, or evening transition. Scheduled Daily Assistance provides dependable support and approved updates, helping families understand how the client is doing without removing the client's independence.

Why Families Choose Tru Star Senior Care

• Private-pay, non-medical support designed around the client's abilities and routine
• Carefully screened caregivers who complete Tru Star's required onboarding process
• Thoughtful caregiver matching based on needs, personality, and requested schedule

Choosing the Right Service Level

Daily Assistance is appropriate when a client needs scheduled hands-on help for part of the day. Clients who mainly need company and light household support may be better suited for Companion Care. Clients who need overnight or continuous coverage should ask about Overnight Care, Live-In Care, or 24-Hour Split-Shift Care.
