TRU Star Senior Care was founded on a simple belief: every senior deserves to be treated with dignity, respect, and genuine compassion.
Founder Isaac Jacobs began his journey in senior care years before starting TRU Star Senior Care. Through hands-on experience as a driver, private caregiver, companion, and trusted support person, he learned that quality care is about more than completing tasks. It is about building relationships, earning trust, and being present when families need support most.
Over the years, Isaac has helped thousands of seniors and families throughout Long Island. His experience included working closely with older adults in private homes, assisted living communities, and senior living environments, including Atria Great Neck, Atria Glen Cove, Atria Roslyn, Atria Huntington, and The Regency in Glen Cove.
These experiences shaped the foundation of TRU Star Senior Care and reinforced the belief that every client deserves personalized support, dependable service, and caregivers who truly care.
One lesson has remained constant throughout Isaac's career: families are not simply looking for help. They are looking for someone they can trust. That belief continues to guide TRU Star Senior Care every day.

Conversation, social engagement, meal preparation, walks, activities and appointment accompaniment.
Daily Assistance
Support with daily routines, dressing, grooming, mobility, bathroom reminders and medicationreminders.
Live-In Care
Ongoing daily support and companionship coordinated around the client's routine and needs.
Homemaker Services
Light housekeeping, laundry, changing bed linens, organizing and maintaining a comfortable home.
Overnight Care
Awake or sleeping overnight support, generally provided from 8:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m.
24-Hour Split-Shift
Continuous coverage provided by two caregivers working separate shifts.
